Laurel’s Labyrinth in Asheville for sale!!!!!

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

Yes, folks; the world famous labyrinth built out of over-turned wine bottles, along with the land it sits on, and the nearby house, is for sale. The labyrinth (see pictures on website in “Guidance” section) is a non-classical 7 circuit design which I have walked over 300 days a year since its creation, which means it’s chock full of great energy. The yard is a low-mow yard with a wonderful raspberry patch. The house can be single-family, but it has a mother-in-law apartment with separate entrance, kitchenette, and jacuzzi in the spacious bathroom. The main kitchen is sunken, beautifully tiled, with a center work island facing the deck, and sporting a view of the mountains. There is a gas stove top, double oven, microwave, and more cabinets than I was able to use. The lower living area has a wood-burning stove, just in case the gas heat ever goes out; it keeps the house pretty toasty. There are also solar heating panels which augment the other heat.
